The Wonderful Wizard of Oz

Welcome to Speed Reading 1000

This blog is designed to provide you with the resources you need to learn to read at speeds up to a 1000 word per minute. It will take a little extra work on your part, but you can improve.

Announcement #1. This announcement is to let everyone know about the first in a series of stories posted on online in a speed reading format. A full-length book “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz” has been put up for speed reading practice. The text on the website is in large print for easy, quick reading at “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz”. Measure your reading speed and practice your reading. If you read at less than 100 words per-minute, you probably have mild dyslexia and need to learn decoding in order to read faster. If that is the case, visit www.dyslexiadecoded.com and learn decoding. Training is free. If you read above 100 words per minute, simply push yourself to read faster and faster using the large text. If you don’t see a big difference in a few weeks, you probably need to learn decoding.

It doesn’t matter if you already know the story or not. Simply use this opportunity to practice speed reading techniques. A blog will be published when another book or story is published online. In the meantime, continue to practice and leave your questions or comments on the blog and I will get back to you.
